Suryapet, June 19, 2025: A Surprise Inspection conducted by District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar at a government high school and Anganwadi center in Suryapet town has highlighted the administration’s renewed focus on improving the quality of education and child nutrition in the district.
The Collector, known for his proactive administrative style, visited Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) and a nearby Anganwadi Center on Wednesday morning, without prior notice to staff. His unexpected arrival ensured a realistic snapshot of ground-level functioning and helped address several key concerns directly.
Surprise Inspection at ZPHS: Focus on Academics
At the Zilla Parishad High School, the Collector first entered a 10th-grade mathematics class, where he engaged with students and tested their understanding of basic concepts. Collector Pawar spent time interacting with teachers, discussing teaching methods, student performance, and gaps in learning. He encouraged the teachers to make lessons more interactive and concept-based.

He also evaluated whether Digital Learning Tools were in use and suggested that teachers increase their use of ICT-enabled teaching, especially for science and math.
