In a decisive move aimed at transforming the education landscape in Telangana, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has unveiled a comprehensive plan to upgrade government schools and enhance language, knowledge, and skill development starting from the high school level.
The announcement marks a major policy shift designed to improve accessibility, infrastructure, and teaching standards across the state.
Key Highlights of the Education Reform Plan:
571 new government schools to be established in underserved and remote areas
Upgradation of teaching standards and curriculum revamp to align with modern learning needs
Rationalisation of schools and junior colleges to optimize resources and faculty
Increased focus on student enrolment, attendance, and digital infrastructure
A study is underway to admit day scholars into Gurukuls, previously limited to residential students
