Sunjay Kapur, a leading figure in the Indian auto-tech industry and the former husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away suddenly at the age of 53 in London. Reports confirm that he suffered a heart attack on Thursday while playing polo, a sport he was known to be passionate about.

Kapur was the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Sona Comstar, a global supplier of automotive technology and components, and also served as the President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) of India. His passing has sent shockwaves across India’s business circles and Bollywood.
