CCTV Captures Shocking Vasant Kunj Hit-and-Run: Security Guard Deliberately Run Over Twice by SUV Driver

In a shocking act of road rage and deliberate violence, a 24-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly ramming his SUV into a security guard not once, but twice, in Delhi’s upscale Vasant Kunj area. The horrific moment was caught on CCTV, and the footage has since gone viral on social media, sparking outrage.
The victim, Rajiv Kumar, a private security guard, had just finished his shift and was returning home from IGI Airport when the incident occurred. According to reports, a verbal altercation broke out between the two over excessive honking by the SUV driver near the residential lane.
Things quickly escalated. Moments later, the accused driver — whose identity has not yet been publicly disclosed — allegedly deliberately ran over Rajiv, stopped briefly, and then reversed the SUV to hit him a second time.
Rajiv Kumar sustained multiple fractures and internal injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is now undergoing treatment and is said to be in stable but serious condition.
Police acted swiftly after reviewing the CCTV footage and arrested the driver under multiple charges, including:
Attempt to murder
Voluntarily causing grievous hurt
Endangering life by negligent driving
Locals and social media users alike are calling for strict punishment and speedy justice in what is being widely condemned as a cold-blooded act of violence.
“This was no accident — it was a targeted attack. Justice must prevail,” said a relative of the victim.
Delhi Police has confirmed the arrest and assured the public that a strong case will be pursued in court.
