Ramdev Alleges Foreign Hand in Ahmedabad Plane Crash, Calls for Aviation Sector Vigilance

Ramdev Raises Alarm Over Foreign Involvement in Ahmedabad Plane Crash, Hints at Possible Conspiracy

Ahmedabad, July 9, 2025 —
Prominent yoga guru and entrepreneur Baba Ramdev has stirred public debate with his bold remarks regarding the tragic Air India AI-171 crash, which claimed over 240 lives. Speaking to the media, Ramdev alleged that a Turkish agency was responsible for the aircraft’s maintenance, and hinted at the possibility of a foreign conspiracy.

“It’s deeply concerning that an aircraft serving our people was being maintained by a foreign agency. This is not just a technical lapse — it could be a deliberate act,” Ramdev claimed.

He further stressed the need for India to tighten control over strategic sectors, particularly aviation, which directly concerns national safety and sovereignty.

“India must remain vigilant. Foreign hands should not be allowed to operate freely in such critical systems. Let this be a wake-up call,” he added.

Though officials have not yet confirmed any foreign sabotage, the revelation of a Turkish maintenance contractor has ignited calls for a full technical and security audit of Air India’s aircraft servicing agreements.
