Impact on 800 Students: Parents Urged to Make Alternative Arrangements

Orchids International School, located in Langar House, was sealed by officials from the Education Department on March 3, 2025, for operating without obtaining the required permits. The school, which serves around 800 students ranging from nursery to class VIII, failed to comply with essential regulations concerning fire safety, traffic management, and GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) permissions.

Despite receiving a notice from the Education Department two months ago, the school administration did not take appropriate action to resolve the issues. As a result, the school was sealed under the instructions of Vijaya Lakshmi, the Regional Joint Director of the Education Department.

The Education Department has issued a clear warning that the school will not be allowed to resume operations unless it secures the necessary legal permits. Parents of the students have been advised to make alternative educational arrangements for their children until the situation is resolved.
