BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has fiercely condemned the Congress Government for the alleged illegal demolitions in Peerzadiguda, vowing that those responsible will face consequences. He directed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to take immediate action regarding the destruction of houses built by locals in the Medchal district, calling it a politically motivated act.

KTR specifically pointed out the involvement of former Medchal MLA Sudheer Reddy, demanding an inquiry into his role in the demolitions. He accused Reddy of harassing officials and orchestrating the destruction of homes constructed on plots sold and regularized by Congress leaders. “An inquiry should be conducted into the role of former Medchal MLA Sudheer Reddy in the demolition of the houses that were built on the plots sold by your Congress leaders and regularised by your Congress Government,” KTR emphasized.

KTR also urged the Chief Minister to seek an intelligence report on the arrests of BRS leaders who stood by the affected residents. “Get an intelligence report on the atrocities being committed by Sudheer Reddy in Medchal Assembly Constituency, otherwise people will fight back and the Congress Government will not be able to stop the protests,” he warned.

Highlighting the complicity of Congress leaders like Ramdas Goud, Jagadishwar Reddy, and corporator Amar Singh’s family in the sale of these plots, KTR criticized the Congress Government’s incompetence and failure to protect the interests of the poor. He cited that revenue officials had previously issued NOCs for the land, enabling many to secure loans and build homes legally, only to face unjust demolition later.

The BRS, KTR assured, remains committed to resolving the plight of the plot owners in Sai Priya and Satyanarayanpuram Colony, areas under the Peerzadiguda Municipality. He stressed that the inclusion of these plots in the 118 GO was a step towards safeguarding the owners’ rights. KTR pledged that the BRS, upon regaining power, would deliver justice to those wronged by the Congress Government.

“The incompetent Congress Government came to power in the name of pro-public rule but broke the back of the poor people,” he stated. “In the future, as soon as our BRS party comes to power again, justice will be done to those plot owners. You are harassing Mayor Jakka Venkat Reddy and the corporators of the BRS party. The Congress Government will pay heavily. We will protect our leaders, our mayor, and our corporators,” KTR declared.
