Justice for Sacred Ground: Encroachments Bulldozed in Parvatapur
In a strong and symbolic move, the Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation deployed hydraulic bulldozers to demolish illegal structures built on cremation ground land in Parvatapur.
Over the past two years, survey numbers 1, 10, and 11 had been unlawfully encroached, with portions of the land illegally sold and constructed upon. The demolition restores the original dignity and public access to the land, traditionally reserved for last rites and community rituals.
Officials confirmed that the demolition drive was conducted in coordination with law enforcement and local authorities to ensure a peaceful and effective clearance operation.
