Peddapalli District, Telangana — In a compassionate response to a devastating road accident, Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has directed senior health officials to provide free medical treatment to a severely injured child, Sahasra. The three-and-a-half-year-old girl lost both her parents, Guntipalli Ramu and Anusha, in the tragic mishap that occurred on the 5th of this month in Basantnagar, Peddapalli district.
The accident, which claimed the lives of the young couple, has left the entire community in shock. Their daughter, Sahasra, suffered critical injuries and was initially taken to a local hospital in Karimnagar before being shifted to Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced care. Her condition, particularly a serious injury to her vertebrae, has required immediate and intensive medical intervention.

Following the Minister’s directive, Hyderabad District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr. Venkat, accompanied by senior medical staff, visited Rainbow Hospital to assess the child’s condition firsthand.
