Hyderabad police interrogated Telugu superstar Allu Arjun for over three hours on Tuesday in connection with the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre during the screening of his blockbuster film Pushpa 2. The incident, which occurred on December 4, claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman and left her 8-year-old son hospitalized.
Allu Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally police station around 11 am, accompanied by his father Allu Aravind and a team of lawyers. He was questioned by a team led by Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav until 2:45 pm.
The interrogation followed a notice issued to the actor on December 23, requesting his appearance to address questions regarding the stampede and, if required, inspect the theatre to determine the facts of the case.

Tight security was deployed around the Chikkadpally police station and Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills to manage the situation. Traffic restrictions were also imposed in the vicinity of the police station.
The police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on a complaint from the deceased woman’s family. Allu Arjun, listed as accused number 11, was arrested on December 13 but was granted four weeks’ interim bail by the Telangana High Court the same day.
The investigation has drawn widespread attention, raising questions about crowd management and accountability during high-profile events. Allu Arjun has assured his full cooperation with the authorities.
