In a recent site visit to the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) in the 44th Division, GWMC Mayor Gundu Sudharani Garu and Commissioner Chahat Bajpai Garu jointly inspected the ongoing operations and reviewed the progress of the upcoming 150 KLD FSTP facility under construction at the same location.

The new 150 KLD (Kilo Litres per Day) Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant aims to significantly boost Warangal’s fecal sludge treatment capacity, aligning with national goals under AMRUT 2.0 and Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban. The plant is designed to process faecal sludge collected from septic tanks across multiple divisions of the city.
