Revanth Reddy Meets Tollywood Giants: Lays Down Law Amid Allu Arjun Row

CM Revanth Reddy Stresses Law Compliance in Tollywood, Calls for Actor Support in State Initiatives

In the wake of a tragic stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened a critical meeting with leading figures from the Telugu film industry. Held at the Integrated Command and Control Centre of the Telangana Police on Thursday, the meeting brought together nearly 40 representatives, including Tollywood stalwarts, to address pressing issues while outlining expectations for the future.

Among the attendees were prominent actors Akkineni Nagarjuna, Daggubati Venkatesh, and Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind, alongside renowned directors Trivikram Srinivas and Boyapati Srinu. The discussion centered on ensuring law compliance, enhancing safety measures, and fostering collaboration between the state and the film industry.

Despite the setback, Manu has resumed her training and is preparing for upcoming international tournaments, including the World Cup scheduled for March 2025. Her father remains optimistic, stating, “This mistake will be corrected. There are good people in the Sports Ministry, and I am confident justice will be served.”

The controversy highlights the ongoing challenges athletes face in receiving recognition for their accomplishments and has reignited the debate over the transparency of India’s sports award processes.
