Job Mela District Headquarters: 51 Youths Receive Appointment Letters in a Boost to Local Employment
In a heartening development for the unemployed youth of the district, a successful Job Mela was conducted on Thursday at the Task Center located at the district headquarters. The event saw participation from numerous companies and organizations that offered employment opportunities to young aspirants trained in both technical and non-technical streams.
At the conclusion of the recruitment drive, 51 youths were formally handed their appointment letters in a proud ceremony attended by Honourable Ministers and the Honourable District Collector.
Skill Training Converts to Employment
The Job Mela District Headquarters event showcased the effectiveness of the government’s skill development and training programs. Candidates who had undergone various government-sponsored or affiliated training programs in areas such as IT, mechanical operations, electrical work, accounting, and customer service were given opportunities to interview with participating companies.
Many employers were impressed with the skill level and professionalism of the candidates. On-the-spot interviews and assessments resulted in 51 immediate job offers.
Ministers and Collector Celebrate Achievement
In a symbolic and inspiring gesture, the Honourable Ministers and the District Collector personally handed over appointment documents to the selected youth. Their presence not only lent credibility to the program but also boosted the morale of participants and their families.
Speaking on the occasion, one of the ministers said:
“This Job Mela is a clear example of how focused governance and public-private partnership can directly benefit the people. We are not just creating jobs—we are creating futures.”
The District Collector added, “Our commitment is to bridge the gap between skills and opportunity. Today, we’re seeing real results—young people getting hired, gaining dignity, and moving forward in life.”
