In a fiery address at the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Constituency cadre meeting, BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched scathing criticisms at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of cowardice and reluctance to accept a challenge to contest from Malkajgiri.

KTR asserted that the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) holds significant influence in India’s largest parliamentary constituency, suggesting that Revanth Reddy’s reluctance stemmed from a fear of electoral defeat.

Reiterating his challenge for Revanth Reddy to step down from his Chief Ministerial post and face him in Malkajgiri, KTR emphasized that ample time remained for the Chief Minister to accept the proposition. He confidently stated his intention to contest from Malkajgiri, expressing readiness to convince another candidate to withdraw their nomination.

KTR derided Revanth Reddy’s aspirations for wealth akin to searching for treasure troves, contrasting them with the populace’s pressing needs such as access to clean drinking water. He lambasted Revanth Reddy’s leadership, asserting that the electorate felt ashamed of having him as Chief Minister.

Highlighting political dynamics, KTR warned against strengthening the BJP by voting for the Congress, citing Revanth Reddy’s alleged admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He drew parallels between Revanth Reddy’s stance and Rahul Gandhi’s opposition, implying a contradiction in their political alignments.

Accusing Revanth Reddy of seeking to replicate the Gujarat model in Telangana and questioning the implications for minority communities, KTR raised concerns about potential authoritarian measures. He also speculated about Revanth Reddy’s future political affiliations, suggesting a potential defection to the BJP post-elections.

KTR’s address underscored the intensifying political rivalry between the BRS and Revanth Reddy’s faction, painting a picture of ideological divergence and personal animosity.
