Harish Rao Heads to BRK Bhavan Amid “Jai Telangana” Chants to Appear Before Kaleshwaram Commission

Harish Rao Heads to BRK Bhavan to Appear Before Kaleshwaram Commission, Joined by Massive BRS Crowd

Hyderabad, Telangana: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao departed from Telangana Bhavan today in a powerful political show of strength as he headed to BRK Bhavan to appear before the Kaleshwaram Project Commission of Inquiry.

Accompanied by former ministers, BRS MLAs, MLCs, and a massive gathering of party workers and supporters, the streets of Hyderabad echoed with “Jai Telangana” slogans, signaling a moment of high political significance.

Dressed in white and radiating confidence, Harish Rao waved to supporters as the convoy moved through the city. The rally not only reflected support for the former irrigation minister but also displayed the party’s unified front in the face of scrutiny.

“We trust the Constitution, the judiciary, and the people of Telangana,” Harish Rao had said earlier this week, reaffirming his readiness to cooperate fully with the investigation.

The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, once hailed as an engineering marvel, is now under the scanner for alleged irregularities in planning and execution. Rao, who played a central role in its development during his ministerial tenure, is expected to defend the project’s intent and execution before the commission.

Political analysts see today’s developments as not just a legal appearance but a strategic political moment that may shape the narrative in Telangana’s public discourse over governance and infrastructure legacy.

Public groups and voices like #SamayaJyothi have emphasized the need for transparency and justice, while appreciating leaders who appear before institutions with dignity and accountability.
