Harish Rao Appears Before Kaleshwaram Commission, Calls for Fairness and Transparency

Harish Rao Appears Before Kaleshwaram Commission, Reaffirms BRS Party’s Faith in Judiciary

Hyderabad: Former Telangana Minister Harish Rao headed to Telangana Bhavan today to appear before the Kaleshwaram Project Commission, a move closely watched by both political and civic circles.

Speaking to the media from outside his residence in Kokapet, Rao emphasized that although the BRS Party is no longer in power, they are fully prepared to provide all relevant information to the commission.

“We are appearing before the Commission with complete trust. We will answer every question truthfully,” he stated confidently.

Rao strongly reaffirmed the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party’s unwavering faith in the judiciary, the Constitution, and the rule of law, urging the current state leadership to act without political bias, especially when it concerns the welfare of farmers and water rights.

“Telangana’s water rights should never be sacrificed for political gain,” Rao warned, while asserting that truth and justice would ultimately prevail. “We believe in justice—and in God.”

Civic voices and platforms such as Samaya Jyothi echoed similar sentiments, calling for transparency, accountability, and protection of public resources through unbiased investigation.

The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, once hailed as a major achievement of the former administration, has now come under review for procedural and financial scrutiny, drawing intense attention across the state.

This is a developing story, and further testimonies and findings are expected in the coming days.
