Telangana State Formation Day to Be Celebrated Grandly on June 2
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Government has announced that this year’s Formation Day celebrations on June 2 will be conducted in a grand and befitting manner, reflecting the spirit and progress of the state since its formation in 2014.
Chief Secretary K. Rama Krishna Rao convened a high-level review meeting at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, bringing together senior officials to finalize every aspect of the event. The day will commence with a homage ceremony at Gun Park followed by the main event at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad.
To ensure smooth execution:
All government departments will appoint nodal officers for coordination
Cultural programs showcasing Telangana’s rich heritage will be organized
Sanitation, water, and security arrangements have been prioritized
Traffic plans and diversions will be implemented for public convenience
Rain-proof tents, uninterrupted power supply, and generator backups are being arranged
The entire event will be telecast live for the public to join in the celebrations from home
The government aims to honor Telangana’s journey of resilience, pride, and tradition, ensuring citizens across the state participate in this iconic day.
