The Chief Minister also spoke at length about the rejuvenation of Amaravati as the capital region. “Amaravati was envisioned as a people’s capital, and we are determined to bring it back on track. Development will be fast-tracked with proper planning and accountability,” he said.
During the conference, Shri Nara Lokesh highlighted the need for innovation in governance. “Technology will be at the heart of our administrative reforms. We are working on integrated platforms for e-Governance and rural connectivity,” Lokesh stated. His remarks reflected the government’s vision for inclusive digitization, particularly aimed at rural communities.
Naidu addressed key policy changes and discussed efforts underway to improve law and order, education, and healthcare systems. He stressed that his administration would bring back credibility and efficiency to all state departments. “We are cleaning up systemic inefficiencies that have hurt public trust,” he mentioned.
The CM also revealed that special task forces would be created to investigate irregularities in past governance, ensuring that misuse of funds and power will be held accountable. “Transparency is not optional; it is a necessity,” Naidu reiterated.
He further explained how upcoming projects would focus on skill development, attracting global investment, and empowering youth. “We are designing policies that aim to make Andhra Pradesh a hub for startups and green industries,” he said.
On the topic of agriculture, Naidu expressed concern about the impact of recent droughts and irregular support to farmers. “We will ensure timely input subsidies and market access for our farmers. Farmer welfare is at the core of our revival mission,” he assured.
Addressing queries about law and order, he announced enhanced security measures and modernization of police infrastructure to safeguard citizens. “Our administration will be people-friendly and crime-free,” he said.
Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh mentioned that the government is working on reviving digital literacy programs that were halted in recent years. He emphasized that all age groups, especially students in rural areas, will benefit from the upcoming digital drive.
The press conference also included announcements about revamping the grievance redressal system through a dedicated citizen portal. “Feedback loops are vital. We are building tech-based systems that let people directly communicate their concerns to officials,” Lokesh explained.
As the conference concluded, both leaders reiterated their shared vision for Andhra Pradesh’s holistic development. The confident and data-backed address sent a strong signal that the administration is actively working toward transformative governance.
