In a significant move aimed at transforming the lives of underprivileged families, the Indiramma House Certificate Distribution Program was successfully conducted at the Miryalaguda Junior College campus. The event saw the distribution of house ownership documents to eligible beneficiaries under the prestigious Indiramma House Scheme, an initiative introduced by the government to ensure shelter for every economically backward family.

Launched with a vision to provide dignity and security to the poor, the Indiramma House Scheme offers financial assistance of ₹5 lakhs per beneficiary for the construction of a permanent home. The scheme stands as a testimony to the government’s commitment to social welfare and inclusive growth, bringing hope and happiness to thousands of families across the state.

The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by prominent political leaders and dignitaries, including Associate Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, MLAs Bathula Lakshma Reddy and Vemula Veeresham, along with senior government officials and department heads. A large number of local public representatives and beneficiaries gathered to witness and celebrate this monumental step.

Addressing the gathering, Associate Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy emphasized that the Indiramma Housing Scheme was not just a housing program but a revolution in rural development. He said, “Providing homes to the poor is a reflection of our commitment to social justice. A home is more than a shelter—it’s the foundation of a secure and dignified life.”

Echoing these sentiments, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy applauded the transparency and speed with which the scheme has been implemented. “We have ensured that only those who are truly deserving have received these house documents. The application and verification process was stringent, leaving no room for favoritism,” he added.

The Legislative Council Chairman, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, highlighted the broader social impact of such welfare initiatives. “When a family owns a home, it brings emotional and financial stability. It improves health, education, and employment outcomes, creating a ripple effect of positive change in society,” he noted.

For many beneficiaries, this day marked the realization of a lifelong dream. With visible joy and gratitude, several recipients shared their stories. Lakshmi, a single mother and one of the beneficiaries, expressed her thanks: “This house gives me and my children a sense of security we never had before. I am grateful to the government for recognizing our struggle.”

The program also featured interactive sessions where government officials explained the next steps for construction and offered guidance on availing additional support if needed. Helpline desks were set up to assist those requiring clarification or facing documentation issues.

The event ended on a high note, with community leaders praising the government’s efforts and urging continued focus on social welfare. Local representatives emphasized the importance of proper follow-up and quality checks during the construction phase to ensure that the homes built under the scheme are safe, durable, and truly life-changing.

As part of its broader development agenda, the government plans to extend the scheme to cover more eligible families in the coming phases. With such initiatives, the vision of “Housing for All” is steadily becoming a reality in Telangana.

The Indiramma House Certificate Distribution Program in Miryalaguda serves as a shining example of effective governance, proactive leadership, and the power of inclusive policies. It marks another milestone in the journey toward building a state where every citizen, regardless of economic status, has the right to a safe and secure home.
